The day of struggle against the occupier 2024 will be on Saturday, 27/04/2024, and Labor Day 2024 will be on Wnesday, 1/5/2024 and Thursday, 2/5/2024 ( May Day holidays 2024 ). On all these three days and on Sunday, April 28, 2024, in accordance with the 2020 amendment to the Trade Act (ZT-1B), shops will be clos. However, some shops will still be open on 27/04/2024 (the day of the fight against the occupier), 1/05/2024 and 2/04/2024 (labor holiday), as the law foresees some exceptions. The list of stores that will be open can be found below.
Day of Struggle Against the Occupier 2024, Labor Day 2024 and May Day Holidays 2024
Anti-Occupier Day 2024 falls on a Saturday, which means that shops will be clos on Saturday and Sunday. Labor Day 2024 , which is celebrat on 1.5.2024 and also 2.5.2024, will close the shops on Wnesday and Thursday. This means that within a week, we will have 2 shops clos for two days each.
Among the exceptions, the Trade Act states that shops may also be open on Sundays and public holidays. The exceptions specifi by ZT-1 are:
